I have to say I don't normally buy cymbal sets, but WOW am I glad I got these. Let's start with the 20" stage ride......There are so many words I could use...Dark, Glassy, Penetrating, Articulate, Cutting, Refined, oh yeah.....LOUD. This is one of those cymbals I will cherish for years to come. The 14" stage hats are great as well. They have an amazing chick when you use your feet, and very glassy when played slightly open. Excellent projection to compete with my guitarists. Finally the 16" stage crash........When I got these, I also purchased 2 other crash cymbals (also top of the line crashes, an 18" thin , and a 17" power both hand crafted in Turkey). If you're worried about durability, forget about it. I don't hit my stuff like trying for a homerun, but they do take a little abuse, especially when we play the hard rock. In closing let me tell you it was a hard decision to make (this brand or that brand), but in the end, for me, it came down to the quality of craftsmanship and the overall sound - and for the classic rock that we mostly play, this set was the clear choice.
