Amazing Trumpet

I bought one of these trumpets from a band director and I fell in love. The bigger bore gives it a full rich and dark sound. It is easy to control the pitches at all dynamics. In the upper register(above c two lines out of staff) the pitch locks really well. The "slots" for the pitch are spot on. The partials are easy to find when you get into the extreme high. I play lead trumpet in my university's jazz ensemble and the tone blends well even when I play double g's and a's and the projection is second to none. it works really well in a symphonic setting too expecially in lower voices because the tone blends so well. Very very good solo horn or for an ensemble. The only drawback is that mine has a brushed laquer finish and the sweat and acid in your skin eats away the finish over time. This is a very good horn.
