I waited a year for this horn and it was absolutely worth it! The first time I played it I knew I had made the right choice. The ease of playing from top to bottom, the improvement of the angle of the neck, the redesign of the low C, C#, and D keys (and alternates) all make this a dream instrument. All of my fellow players in the Little Rock Wind Symphony raved about, not only the absolute beauty of the horn itself, but of the magnificent tone quality. It is an absolute joy to play. I give this instrument five glowing stars. I welcome any questions you might have.

I played the Selmer Paris Low C model in high school, and it was amazing. This instrument was far better than any I ever played. If you're a serious bass clarinetist, you would love this instrument. It takes a bit of time to get used to playing the low C if you've never done so before, but it is truly worth it for the quality of the sound, and the ease of play especially in the upper register. AMAZING!

I don't know where to begin with this instrument. My high school was fortunate enough to have 4 of these. I was one of the first ones to use them. Right out of the case they play amazing. All the notes speak clearly. None of the notes where ever really out of tune. They don't require a massive amount of air. In my perspective if you are a serious Bass Clarinet player and plan to continue to college like myself, you need this horn. It may be costly but it is a huge investment which will last a very long time. The neck angle is a great. It comes with a Selmer Paris C* MP. The range is about 4 octaves. This instrument is amazing, and if u don't have one you need one.

I played on a Selmer 37 for three years before purchasing this. I did not think it would be much better, but it is. All the keys and pads come properly aligned out of the box, which is a huge help. The low register is very full and high register is easy to play. It now has an alternate Eb key for your right thumb which is very useful. The only problem with it was that when I first took it out of the case I had to bend the D and F key levers into the right place. It comes with a Selmer C* mouthpiece. If you want to sound the best you can, this is the instrument for you.
