For those who would like to play or already play soprano, this is a wonderful mouthpiece. If you get the proper size. Soprano is very tricky instrument to grapple with so I suggest playing on a D or E. You can't transfer your alto C* thinking to this instrument. The instrument is already loud so there is no need for metal. If you play on a bigger facing like the D or E you can use the same mouthpiece for Classical and Jazz. Adjustments in tuning are easier with a bigger facing and the back pressure is somewhat relieved.
