"A Classic Mouthpiece"

I've been playing with an S80 C* for more than twenty years now. I've owned lots of horns in my life and used a host of mouthpieces, but the Paris S80 is still my all time favorite. Though I have used it more for classical music and "show tunes", I think it is flexible enough to use in nearly any setting. I've played blues and jazz with an S80, especially when I was interested in a more mellow sound rather than an edgy or "bright" tone. I still play the one I bought over twenty years ago nearly every day. If you don't abuse or drop it, this mouthpiece will last for decades. I'd say it is a great mouthpiece for the beginner (very user friendly, easy to get tone) and never loses its usefulness even after many years.

From the time I first played this to now where I am perfecting my sound, this mouthpiece has been a great one. I don't ever expect to buy another classical mouthpiece.
