I had this mouthpiece for a while. This mouthpiece, with a Rovner dark and V16, has done its job right, for it produces a dark, round, and mellow tone for the marching band. However, I find this mouthpiece difficult to project, play altissimo keys, and to put edge on the overall tune, due to its chamber and opening design. I would highly recommend it for high school students moving up from student mouthpieces, and I would also highly recommend to the fellow professionals as a back up mouthpieces, for s90 is relatively affordable, and gets decent job done, compared to others. Also, I would like you to know that this mouthpiece is well rounded with almost any kind of combinations, no matter what your instrument, ligature, and/or reed is, s90s will pretty much sound decent in it.
