There's no easier capo out there!
A patented locking action provides an unrivaled combination of power, speed, accuracy and ease of use. One smooth flip of the lever
locks it securely in place... and removes it just as quickly.
The Shubb capo doesn't create tuning problems. Its soft, resilient rubber is specially designed to work just like a fingertip so it doesn't bend the strings over the frets. Its closing action is just like your hand, so it doesn't pull the string off center. As a result, no retuning is necessary!
Precisely machined of brass and carefully hand assembled, a Shubb capo is manufactured without compromise. Simply holding one in your hand conveys a sense of quality. Snapping it solidly onto a banjo neck, and then removing it, all within about one second, will confirm its reputation for excellence.

Comments about Shubb Original C Series Banjo Capo:
When I tried this capo the first thing I noticed was that it distorted the sound of the banjo when capoed at the seventh fret and seemed like it needed to be clamped down awfully hard to make it stay on. It also did not fit across all five strings when capoing it at the seventh fret so I had to move the fifth string capo to help the capo out. However, by doing that you had to position the capo backwards so the capo was in the way of my left hand. Then when I took the capo off of the fret bord it left a white mar on my banjo's fretboard. Then last but not least it was not a one-handed operation of putting the capo on. So no, I do not recommend this capo.
