Comments about Shure SM57 Instrument/Vocal Mic:

I own four SM57 mic's and use them for different things. They are great all around mic's for recording guitar amps and drums. The sound quality is not the best, but based on the price of an SM57, it pretty darn good! I have also used SM57's to mic my guitar cabinet when playing shows. For this purpose, the SM57 can't be beat.

Comments about Shure SM57 Instrument/Vocal Mic:

A stage and studio standard. Good sound, reliable, rugged. I have some that are 20 years old and still sound good. Great on guitar cabs, snare drum and some vocals. I have also used them in broadcast applications and been pleased with the results.
