I get a very smooth lubrication with this product. Better than creams. However, you must have a good slide, as it does not have the density to work well on slides that aren't good to start. As my slide has aged it has started to work a little less well. Also, you must use it right. Start with small bottle on stocking and rest of slide, then large bottle on whole slide, work it in, then water. 'Price is well worth it, and seems to have come down a little.

Pros: Amazing product, no resistance, need little reaplication, and it lasts a long time. I bought it 3 years ago and haven't had to buy more until now. Cons: The smaller bottle always runs out before the big one, and Slide-o-Mix dies from the marching band weather, needs to be aplied every other day. Otherwise it's an amazing product,

I cannot say enough good things about this product. There is no comparison to other makes/modes of this. Make sure to get a spray bottle.

I bought my first professional horn when I was in 8th grade. I then switched over to bass trombone, and have used Slide-O-Mix since 8th grade. When I played every day, I rarely had to use this product often. Application is minimal, and the results are amazing.

There's a lot of good products out there for your slide, but once you've tried Slide O Mix, you'll be done shopping around and experimenting. It's, at the very least, worth trying for yourself. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
