Designed for the guitarist who needs the best of all worlds, the LUCKY 13 is a 50W 2x12 tube amplifier that's basically two amps in one box-a sparkling, super luscious, and somewhat "vintage" sounding clean amp combined with a rich, singing, harmonic-laden high gain amp. The Clean channel has a single volume control and is designed to be clean all the way up until the power amp reaches full power and begins its warm power tube breakup. The Overdrive channel has preamp and master volume controls; any level of gain and overdrive is available at any volume level. Both channels on the Lucky 13 amp share the added benefit of a tube driven Accutronics three-spring reverb. Sovtek 5881 power tubes provide 50 watts of power for tight lows and big, big headroom. Bold, sexy styling gives the Soldano Lucky 13 a look as good as it sounds.
At Soldano Custom Amplification, they obtain the best parts available and then spend the time to carefully assemble these parts by hand to create the highest quality and most reliable guitar amplifiers possible. Their attention to detail borders on the obsessive. They don't have an assembly line, nor do they outsource subassemblies to other countries.
