I acquired one locally, on a head to head tryout, this particular guitar sounded and played better than the American telecasters in the store! I have been playing it for about 6 months, and no regrets at all. A professional guitarist tried it and was very impressed. Worth a look, but you may need to search to get the pick of the litter.
