The Taylor 2012 K16ce-L Koa/Spruce Grand Symphony Left-Handed Acoustic-Electric Guitar is a member of the Koa Series of acoustic-electric guitars. This series offers a variety of body sizes, all with koa back and sides, and a choice of Sitka Spruce or Hawaiian Koa for the top. Each guitar presents an exotic feast of figure, color and sound. Koa' visual allure is complemented with shimmering abalone trim around the top and soundhole, while figured maple binds the body, fingerboard, soundhole, and caps the heel. Each Koa Series Acoustic/ Electric is performance-ready, with a Venetian cutaway and Taylor' Expression System electronics. The K16ce features a Koa Grand Symphony body and a Sitka Spruce top.
Hawaiian Koa' captivating beauty is matched by a tone that blossoms over time, especially in the midrange. Its voice is bright and focused, with warm overtones that slowly emerge, adding sweetness and depth. Premium all-wood appointments, led by the Tropical Vine fretboard inlay, celebrate the wood' natural appeal.
