The Woodwind & Brasswind Flagship Superstore to Host Drum Clinic

— Internationally Renowned Percussionists to Perform and Offer Expert Training —

South Bend, IN – The Woodwind & Brasswind Flagship Superstore will host a special drum clinic with internationally renowned percussion artists Reggie Norris and Scott Pellegrom on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 2 p.m. EDT, at 4004 Technology Drive, South Bend, IN.

The artists will be showcasing the hottest techniques in music as well as representing their roots in percussion with a more traditional, "not so modern drummer" sound. The show will combine education on products and demonstrations to all levels of percussionists, from beginner to professional.

About the Clinicians:

Scott Pellegrom gave his first live performance at age five. Since then, he has grown from a natural born percussionist to an international clinician and educator. Pellegrom has made appearances at Cape Breton International Drum Festival 2009 and 2010, Tiger Bill's Drum Beat Fest 2009, Fun with Drum Clinic in 1999, Portland Vintage Drum Show 2004 and Bass Up in Atlanta. When he's not instructing one of his 30 clinics, you can find him performing or demonstrating products at NAMM, Musikmesse and PASIC every year. He endorses and works exclusively for Dream Cymbals, DrumCraft Drums, Pro-Mark Sticks and Aquarian heads.

Redginald "Wally" Norris found his love for drumming as a child in church. While developing his craft, Wally engaged in various bands from gospel to jazz, pop, rock and classical hip-hop. Among a wide variety of other performers, some of Wally's credentials can be found on recordings for Contemporary Gospel artists, YPJ & FVC, Dwayne "DW" Wright and Armar're Hill & True Foundation. Norris endorses Taye Drums, Paiste Cymbals, Mono Cases and Livewires In-Ears. His goal is to have a positive influence on the music industry to help inspire change in people's lives through music.
