Shell Tones are some of the most beautiful guitar picks made by Timber Tones. They are machine ground to a precise perimiter, and then they have a perfect gradual chamfer added on both sides by hand. Although too brittle for strumming they give some amazingly clean crisp tones when picking on an electric guitar. As far as tone, the mother-of-pearl is a hard material that gives bright and sometimes quite brash tones. The hardness makes it most suitable for light picking where clear bright tones are required.
