Wow! I've been a clarinet player for a long time, and finally, I think I have finally found the ultimate mouthpiece! Great tone, and not difficult to blow with harder reeds.

With the Vandoren M15 Clarinet mouthpiece my tone is much better. I only play in a concert band at school, but I have noticed a much stronger and richer tone. This mouthpiece has made playing the upper register easier for me.

At first I didn't really like this mouthpiece. I got it at the same time as I got my new clarinet, a Yamaha CSG-H (amazing clarinet, by the way) and for some reason the tone quality was just awful. I had been using a really basic, beginner mouthpiece up until then. One night I sat down with 3 different kinds of reeds, 2 different ligatures, and 2 different mouthpieces. What I ended up with was the Vandoren M-15 with a Vandoren Optimum Ligature, with Mitchell Lurie Premium #5 reeds.

It has an unique sound. Responds very good to big intervals. Also good for articulation.
