Vandoren Neoprene Woodwind Mouthpiece PouchThe Vandoren mouthpiece pouch protects mouthpieces, caps, or ligatures from dust, dirt, and scrapes caused by loose storage within the instrument case.

I received one of these for Christmas and now I have something I can put my alto sax mouthpiece (and ligature and cap) into. I don't have to worry about anything getting damaged now that everything is contained in this pouch in my case. The pouch is sturdy and stylish, much more so that the zip lock bag that my mouthpiece used to be in! I plan on getting one for my bass clarinet mouthpiece in the near future.
I especially recommend this for anyone that has mouthpieces that are stored in any place other than the designated mouthpiece slot in the case (for example, I carry my bass clarinet mouthpiece in my general accessory bag because there isn't a good spot in my case to put it without it floating around in different parts of the case; I used to carry my Eb clarinet mouthpiece separate before I bought a new case because the case I used to have didn't have a mouthpiece slot in it).
This is not rocket science. It's a bag to keep a mouthpiece in. But it is well made and provides much more protection than the simple felt bag Vandoren offers for $11.49. For just a few dollars more you get real cushioning, a zippered closure, and plenty of room for any tenor mouthpiece you're likely to have. I don't know about using this for a bari piece. It is just large enough for some of my tenor pieces (with ligatures and caps) without a lot of room to spare. I have had four of these for months now and they have shown no real wear and the zippers all still work well. For the money, they give good protection and are easy to use. I recommend them if you want to baby your pieces.
