Vandoren V12 Bb Clarinet ReedsV12 reeds have a thicker tip and longer pallet that results in a deeper, richer sound with body to the attack. This cut is a favorite among clarinetists world-wide. It is designed for the advanced clarinetist, and recommended for long-facing mouthpieces such as the 5RVLyre and B45. It is known for its precise attack, homogenous timbre in every register, controllability in the high register, and overall warm and velvety sound.

I have bought these reeds for years for my niece who played in her high school's champion marching band and who now plays in her college pep band and Newport Community Band. She plays an expensive clarinet and will only use the best quality reeds which she says enhance the sound produced by her instrument.
After 2 years of experimentation with other brands of reeds, I have returned to the V-12's with a sigh of relief. They play out of the box with very little break-in and you are sure to find some outstanding reeds in every box. My Vandoren M30 mouthpiece, Vandoren Masters ligature, and Vandoren V12's is a winning combination for solo and ensemble playing. Local music store prices for the V12's are painful, so the wwbw is a good source.
Ive been playing these reeds for 2 years and they are my main reeds for marching and concerts. I was really suprised in how long they lasted, 1 reed would last for about a week and a half. The only problem is that they dont come in 4/12, other than that, there great reeds.
This reed gives the quality of sound that I need for my band perfomances at an affordable price
When I first bought these reeds, I was disappointed. I found it nothing different than the original Vandoren Traditional, only, a bit stiffer. However, when I got used to these reeds, I found my self keep saying 'Wow' in the middle of the piece I?m playing. The staccatos sound much less aggressive, and also, it produces 'dolce' sound. Overall, the V12 reeds boast their dark, warm and round sound, which is awesome when you are playing in the low register. I bought these reeds, because there were so many people unanimously agreeing that this is 'the best reed out there'. Well, I am not so sure about that, however I can admit that this is one of the best reeds on the market. Although the price of the V12 reeds gives you a royal pain, they play very well, and are great for concertos and solos.
Theese reeds are the perfect reed, they sound great right out of the box. They sound better than the traditional vandorens and they last longer to. These are the only reeds that I play on for marching and concerts.
These are amazing reeds. They have that perfect tone with a Vandoren B45 or a Selmer paris Crystal mouthpies. They have a very good classical tone that makes your try-out judge want to give you a chai. I use them for jazz, concert and marching and they make my tone a step above any other players in my band.
The reed is very good. There are a few bad reeds in the box. but that is common with reeds.
I brought these reeds to perform Weber before thousands of people. V12 has definitely earned my trust!
I buy these for my daughter which is in high school band, she is extemely happy with them. These reeds have helped her play better then the other students, she highly recommends them. The price is the best, love doing business with The Brasswind & Woodwind.
