My daughter started band class this year and came home with the news that we had to buy her a snare drum and bell kit. Now, just so you know, she just turned 11 and has absolutely NO musical experience. When I saw that it was going to cost me at least $400 for these 2 items, I couldn't believe it! What if she didn't like it? What if she was not so good at it? I researched on the internet about them, looked on Ebay, and checked local music stores. The prices were so high!!! Then I went to Pricegrabber.com and searched for snare drum and bell kit and it linked me to WOODWIND & BRASSWIND and this Verve brand. For $199 and free shipping, I knew I found my deal. And what really amazed me was that it arrived in less than 3 days on a Saturday and on a holiday weekend! Great drum for beginner band student. Comes with drum, stand, sticks, bell kit, sticks, practice pad and stand. Ordered early Thursday morning and it arrived Saturday afternoon. Case is great and seems sturdy. Case on wheels with telescoping handle. I couldn't ask for more for my 6th grade band student with absolutely NO musical experience!!!
