Vestax PMC-580Pro 4-Channel Digital DJ mixer
The Vestax PMC-580Pro is a 4-channel DJ mixer that controls up to 6 different effects and parameters at once. The PMC-580Pro is also a multi-effect unit and loop control device individually equipped on each program channel with an effects unit for the Master and Mic channel sections. This Vestax mixer also comes with USB connection, SPDIF digital IO, a new AD/DA analog circuit and 2-band EQ for monitor/booth output. Its goal is to meet the demands of DJs in the scene.

The Vestax PMC-580Pro mixer's effects can be operated with 2 different effect switch modes: Momentary, and Alternate. The Momentary Mode is useful for when you want instant effects on short phrases, and the effect will be applied to the sound only while the effect button is pushed. The Alternate Mode is useful for when you want to apply effects to a long mix: the effect will be applied to the sound from the time the effect button is pushed until it is pushed again. Some effects apply to the sound differently depending on the selected effect switch mode.

The Vestax PMC-580Pro mixer is loaded with 5 high spec DSP chips. 3 to process effects and 2 for mixing sound signals. The Enhanced Dual Bit method is a high performance chip technology of ASAHIKASE, which is applied to the AD/DA section of the PMC-580Pro, where sound signals are converted between digital and analog. It is generated by a high capacity institutional power adaptor, which gains the heavy low groove required for excellent Club sound. The internal power supply produces the sound signal circuit that runs on +/-18V. With the two combined, +/-24dB of headroom is produced, creating dynamic sound. The HI GAIN TRIM control circuit is a feature that's designed to bridge the gap between digital media, MP3s and CD source sound levels.

The Vestax PMC-580Pro DJ Mixer has an EQ/ISOLATOR select switch on each program channel so DJs can select their prefered sound adjustment to reflect the music they play. The BEAT KEY function operates simultaneously with the auto BOOM counter and TAP BPM counter that controls the effects BPM (Beats Per Minute) along with the detected BPM of the playing track that helps everything stay together on time.

The two 44.1k, 48kHz sampling rate digital inputs enable digital connection and provide a sound system with no sound deterioration. Digital music files can be played from computers and tracks can be recorded to computers via USB input/output.

The PMC-580Pro mixer's smooth 60mm input faders provide for high precision mixing with a great feel, and large effect knobs for dynamic effect control. The mixer's input faders and the cross fader can be easily replaced by detaching the top panel.

The Vestax PMC-580Pro also has 3 convenient mic effects; Pitch Shift, Distortion, and Mic Echo. The Pitch Shift modulates the mic sound within +/-1 octave and changes the voice to a high or low pitch. The Distortion deteriorates the mic sound and creates a distortion effect, giving it a little more edge. The Mic Echo applies an echo effect to the microphone sound.
