Why Woodwind & Brasswind ?

The marching bass mallets feature tapered shafts, which shift the weight of the stick towards the hand for improved balance and control. Spherical heads provide a consistent striking surface. With super hard felt heads or soft felt cores covered with fleece. Sold as a pair.

A nylon head with a curved playing surface for ultra-staccato sounds. Head = 1-1/4 x 1/2", L = 14-1/2". I love these mallets! They're the best I've ever used. Great grip and great power to get that big boom. Although they break often I would still consider them the best.
