This model features a set of high-quality standard set of General MIDI sounds that contain a wide complement of timbres for all common instrument groups including piano, organ, strings, brass, woodwinds, guitars, basses, special effects and more. Additionally it features a broad range of drum and percussion timbres from pop to jazz to orchestral. It additionally features durable buttons that are 'sealed' to IP65 standard. They are in place of 1/4" jacks for patch changes, transposing and other functions, and are preferred for education and marching, as pedals are not required in those contexts.

Xylosynth's revolutionary sensing and filtering technology means that the Xylosynth can bring the best out of your sound source with a vast dynamic range, and all with accuracy of triggering and lightning fast response time that means what you hear is exactly what you played. With the XS6, latency has now been all but illiminated, at a phenomenal 0.003 seconds or less, and speeds of 33 hits per second, per note will now be flawlessly recognized.
