I was so surprised when I got this reed. For the price, I never thought it would work so well! This reed has defiantly been one of the best that I have used! It lasts a long time as well. I have been using this reed on and off for five mounts. That’s along time for me because I go through reeds like you wouldn't believe. I always have one of these reeds on hand, just to be safe. (You never know when you need a reed and don't have time to make one.) Hands down one of the best commercial reeds that I have used.

I teach oboe lessons to middle school and beginning high school students, and I recommend this reed to many of my students. They hold up well and are reasonably priced for beginning players. The pitch and tone are very even, and allow the student to concentrate on other aspects of playing.
