My husband bought me this piccolo when I was in college and we were both poor students so this was the most economical option as far as a wooden piccolo. I have now had this model for almost 10 years and it hasn't been serviced one time! Plays beautifully in tune. Rumor has it that these are actually made by the famous maker of popular flutes and piccs. starting with a "G." :-) Love the picc and I give it 5 stars!

This piccolo is the cheapest I could find that was solid wood, which is what was recommended for me. It plays in tune, and is easy to adjust, but it is hard to assemble without enough grease. Nice sound.
