I've just bought a Woodwind-brand. I bought it just to have something to play on, but I can honestly say I was pretty blown away by its sound - it plays wonderfully, the fingerings are comfortable and within easy reach, and from top to bottom it plays every note evenly and clearly, no squeaking or whistling. I've tried a few other mouthpieces with this sax, but they sounded off to me - the mouthpiece it comes with sounds terrific. I would definitely recommend this saxophone to anyone starting out or needing a sax for high school!
