The XL Protechtor molded plastic case is a very good value for the price. Sturdy; takes abuse. (I notice the description of it in the WWBW web site does not specify the diameter of drum for which this model is designed.) The 14" case is flexible enough that I can squeeze an older 15" Ludwig snare drum with a fold-up Ludwig leg rest into it. However, this drum does not have the dramatically projecting snare mounting assembly of many newer drums. The case has no padding; it's simply a molded shell.
