Yamaha engineers and designers have provided the EV-204 Electric Violins with the ability to do both. Using an amazingly powerful pickup system in combination with a one-piece solid maple body and a unique solid maple soundboard, the Yamaha electric Violins deliver a massive tone that is both aggressive and expressive. Available in three colors: Amber (AMB), Cosmic Blue (CBL) or Pearl Red (PRD).
A new approach to the design of electric violins has resulted in a revolutionary pickup system. Yamaha's original design sandwiches a maple bridge within a composite shell. Sensors resonate separately beneath each string giving the tone an incredible depth and dynamic range, with an electric edge.
