This Yamaha Field Corps Quad marching drum kit includes an 8", 10", 12", and 13" multi-tom set, and a comfortable Contour Hinge Biposto Carrier. Yamaha multi-toms deliver a pure, focused tone that is maximized by the deeper, more balanced drum set. The included Contour Hinge Biposto Carrier gives you greater drum stability plus complete freedom and the essential maneuverability for contemporary marching band performances.

Yamaha Field-Corps Quad Set
These Yamaha toms are equipped with an arch-shaped lug for freer shell vibration and greater tone. Field-Corps multi-toms are also equipped with a Yamaha-designed 2.3mm thick, steel UltraHoop rim. Its profile protects the bearing edge from mallet sweeps, which is especially important the lower the rim height.

Yamaha multi-toms also have a high-strength aluminum reinforcement ring inserted just below the bearing edge that maintains shell integrity—especially withen high-tension tuning.

All Yamaha marching multi-toms are made using Yamaha's patented Air-Seal System which ensures that the shells start round and stay round: an in-round shell tunes clearer and provides a pure fundamental tone.

The 45-degree bearing edge allows each drum to speak clearly creating precise articulation.

6-ply birch shells enhance mid-range tone. A high-strength, aluminum reinforcement ring inserted just below the bearing edge maintains shell integrity. This exclusive Yamaha design allows for extreme, high-tension tuning without the risk of warping.

Additionally, since the wood bearing edge of the drum, not the reinforcement ring, contacts the drumhead, a quality transfer of vibration energy occurs offering a pure and consistent sound.

Enhanced Maximum Tonal Projection (MTP) cut offers an articulate sound and a focused fundamental—perfect for precise projection of tone in competitive marching situations. Extensive research into the cut has resulted in a design that delivers maximum performance from the shell while providing optimum balance between each of the toms. The Enhanced MTP multi-toms are 1" to 1.5" deeper than previous Yamaha models.

The 5.4mm steel tension rods provide easy, consistent tuning without adding unnecessary weight. Double steel washers allow for a smooth tuning adjustment at any tension level.

The 2.3mm steel UltraHoops with unique inward profile help protect the bearing edge from mallet sweeps. The rims also ensure true tuning and shape retention, even under extreme tension and heavy rim shots.
