The 3100 Series is the first of its kind to use environmentally friendly aluminum bowls. Spun aluminum bowls provide superior tone quality and maximum resonance. The spun aluminum bowl produces a rich tone. The lighter material results in convenient transport, making this series ideal for gigging professionals, percussion instructors, band directors, and students.
The unique folding design reduces the space required to store or transport the timpani. Sliding legs glide easily into the bowl, allowing a set of timpani to fit in an average size car or van for transport. Small, durable casters on the sliding legs are convenient during transport.
