PART OF MY GUITAR RIG

I am a guitar player and have used many amps in my day. I recently purchased the Boss Gt-8 floor modeling unit and use it instead of a traditional amplifier. I run it through the STAGEPAS 300 and it sounds absolutely amazing. I never expected this small PA system to produce so much volume. The sound is thick with tons of bass as well as highs. When I play on stage, I use only one of the cabinets as a floor monitor and the second output on the GT-8 I send to our large PA system. Stage set up is easy and the sound is spectacular. I can easily adjust my master tone on the STAGEPAS according the specific room acoustics I am playing in. When I use the system at home, both speakers are used and I run the GT-8 in stereo mode which gives an even bigger sound. I plug my CD player into the unit as well and jam with backing tracks. I have absolutely nothing but praise for this unit. Hats off to Yamaha for producing another winner.

I use this system for all sorts of mid-sized gatherings and it works and sounds just great. I am very picky with my sound, it has to be full and well balanced, these are. Only disappointment is that there are no pole mounts built in - an external bracket is available.
