I wanted to get a nice piccolo with a wonderful sound for concert season, so I ordered 2 piccolos from Woodwind Brasswind: this one and the Roy Seaman (Gemeinhart). At first I like the Roy Seaman because of the easy playing, but as I compared the two with a tuner, the Yamaha was definitely more in-tune with itself than the Seaman. The Yamaha definitely has the quality and pitch of a good sound.
