I am very pleased with the sound, feel, and overall quality of this instrument for the money spent. The engineering thought and careful design that Yamaha invested in the keyboard function has yielded a touch that is very much like a quality piano. Further, I think this instrument will make an excellent keyboard for the young student taking lessons for the first time. Before you spend several thousand dollars on a first piano for yourself or a student, young or older, I recommend an initial trial with a Yamaha YPG 625. My only caution: watch out for the clever packaging as the small parts are hidden here and there.
