Comments about Yamaha YSL-448G Intermediate Trombone:
This trombone is versatile, durable, and comfortable. I have played it now for 3 years, and it has never let me down. I've used it as a solo first trombone, a bass trombone, and jazz trombone. It has a dark sound, and can be blown loudly very easily. If you can hear yourself, you're probably overpowering the rest of the section. The slide works wonderfully, and the valve works with very little maintenance for months at a time. The case is sturdy and the mouthpiece that comes with it is OK. I'd reccomend this trombone to pretty much anyone (except a pro or someone with cash to burn).
