I bought this trumpet used before 4th grade 6 years ago in great shape and have been playing it ever since. Other than some small dings & scratches, it's held up amazing well and proved to be quite sturdy. The tone is very nice, though the upper and lower ranges can get a little iffy. Even with braces, I'd say my tone is just as good as my good friend with a Strad. Since elementary school, music has gotten a bit harder ;) so definitely, I'd like to upgrade to a better horn like the Xeno soon so I can nail those high notes and not sound like something dying. But overall, this is an excellent starting horn for a student.
This is a great horn for beginners and is decent for advancing players. It works really well, it is durable and it playes easily. It isn't the best for the higher range of notes, and can sometimes be difficult to reach that high, but it overall has a good range. It has good intonation (high notes are a little awkward) and it has pretty good tone. It is a good "training horn" and I am glad to have started out on this instrument. Overall: Good choice for beginners, but look in to a "stepup" if you are interested in highschool or college band.
Ive been using this trumpet since the fifth grade and its served me well. It plays well for a beginner horn, but the upper register can be a little difficult at times. It is very sturdy and fine for marching band. The only real problem is that the valves tend to have problems often.
This is an excellent trumpet for a middle school player. However the high notes can be hard to hit. It's durable and easy to take care of. Overall, it's an extremely good student trumpet with rich tone.
This makes a really good student trumpet, although it is a little expensive if you are starting out and you have a bit of money this is probably one of the best choices. It is very durable and has great tone. The valves are really smooth and it?s a pretty good looking trumpet too. This is an all around good trumpet.
