Yellow Tools Independence Pro 2.1
Independence Pro 2.1 is Yellow Tools' first update of the powerful Independence Pro sampler workstation, which includes Independence, Independence Live, and Independence FX. Along with improvements in workflow, performance, and stability, all three now support 3rd-party VST plug-ins (Independence FX supports VS effects plug-ins only).

Independence 2—The next level of software sampler workstations.

To give you the most out of the included premium 70GB sound library, the audio engine of Independence 2 has been completely redesigned and improved. With "multi core support" you can now decide how many cores of your computer you want to "reserve" for Independence 2! This way you can make sure that there are the maximum available CPU resources for Independence 2 without getting in trouble with your other applications. Another leap forward is the possibility to load 3rd party VST effects and VST instruments directly in Independence 2, so you have immediate access not only to other sample libraries in Independence 2 but also all your other VST effects and/or instruments.

The Browser page in lets you search and import audio and MIDI files as easily as possible. You can also search for other files such as Projects, Layer Sets, and Sections. To make your file management as easy as possible, the Independence 2 browser contains a sophisticated attributes batch utility that lets you edit and add attributes for your selected files in one simple step. The Quick Edit page is even more powerful with the inclusion of a remote control function: eight freely assignable knobs and buttons including a "learn" option give you control over every parameter in Independence 2 — and even other applications as well. This lets you easily assign features and functions to customize and streamline your Independence 2 workflow.

Independence Live—A powerful host application specially designed for live performance.
Independence Live lets you load an unlimited number of Independence 2 Projects as well as 3rd-party VST effects and instruments. The ability to immediate switch between currently loaded Projects allows you to create a custom setup for any live event, thanks to flexible audio and MIDI routing. To make the live performances even easier for you, Independence Live supports the use of any hardware controller - accessible via the Remote Control window.

Independence FX—a sophisticated, virtual effect rack with Independence 2 insert filters and effects.
Now you can use all of the premium Independence 2 filters and effects as separate plug-ins, with access to over 40 powerful inserts, including Yellow Tools' sophisticated real time impulse response processor "Origami." Independence FX comes with hundreds of presets that can be easily loaded via drag 'n' drop. The virtual rack functionality allows you to add an unlimited number of inserts into Independence FX and change their order at any time.
