Comments about Zildjian Super Cymbal Bag:

I bought this as a replacement for an identical bag that i have used for at least 10 years (maybe longer, i just don't recall). It is one of the few cymbal bags on the market that has all the features I need, but it is the best value among those choices. Specifically, it has an outside cymbal pocket for Hi-Hat cymbals which provides more room inside the main compartment then would a bag without one. However the feature that really meets my needs is the additional outside zippered pouch on the other side of the bag. Some bags have a small pouch on the outside of the outside Hi-Hat pouch, but very little fits in one of those - perhaps a drum key, wrench etc. However the misc pouch on this bag is as long as the main bag and half as deep. That is more then enough room for a small stick bag, plus a woodblock and cowbell (i play a lot of Trad jazz so I use those traps on most gigs). The main main bag has 3 dividers that work well for the 3 to 4 ride and crash cymbals i generally use. The bag comes with a shoulder strap, but I am an older guy who uses a cart for load in/out, so i just lay the bag on top of the Bass drum on the cart. Younger drummers will use anr appreciate the strap no doubt. As far as durability goes, as I said i had my original one at least a decade. i am a semi-pro drummer - which means i get paid to drum, but not enough to be able to avoid a day gig :) - who averages 30+ gigs a year. If you play a style of music that requires lots and lots of cymbals I don't know if ANY one bag will be enough for you, but if, like me, you use a ride or two, a couple of crashes, and a pair of Hi-Hats, i highly recommend this bag.
