Just got the tenor sax mute today and after trying it out, I give it a high approval rating. It is as good as the alto sax mute I also bought from WWBW, and these mutes are great for apartment dwellers and people who need to practice at a lower sound level as well as into the evening hours. Remember the sax mutes are not silencers, but they do a good job of really reducing the sound level that comes out of your horn. The lower B and Bb, and high D,E,F may take a little extra shifting of the hands to finger the keys if your hands are bigger than average (like mine) however it can be done as I have done it successfully. I highly recommend this product.
