The eMedia My Guitar Kit is an ideal starter guitar kit for young budding musicians, ages 5 and up. The award-winning eMedia My Guitar software is what sets this guitar kit apart from all others. In eMedia My Guitar, an animated character named Gary the Guitar leads kids through 60 lessons, authored and demonstrated by professional guitarist Kevin Garry, Ph.D. My Guitar teaches the basics, such as holding and tuning the guitar, playing chords and advances with songs to strumming techniques, rhythms and reading music.
eMedia My Guitar teaches with the help of videos and live recorded songs. The Animated Fretboard shows kids where to put their fingers as the music plays, while the speed of music can be adjusted with MIDI tracks, so kids can learn at their own pace. The interactive games interspersed throughout the method make learning fun and easy. Valuable software accessories such as an automatic tuner, metronome, chord dictionary and digital recorder are all included.
