I would never waste my money on this product ever again.

Comments about Allora Vienna Series Intermediate Straight Soprano Saxophone with Two Necks:

The saxophone looks nice and the case is very nice, but that's about where the great things about this saxophone end. Straight out of the box, this saxophone is unplayable below second line g. It makes a horrible worbling sound that I can't get rid of. Needless to say, I will be sending this sax back to Allora and getting myself one that I can actually play.

Comments about Allora Vienna Series Intermediate Straight Soprano Saxophone with Two Necks:

I am primarily a jazz tenor saxophonist and I wanted this instrument for casual small group playing and a double. It works pretty good, I had to play around with the octave key mechanism to get it working smoothly, and it does now! Tone quality/intonation is great. The stock mouthpiece that it came with is okay, but once you have time to get a quality mouthpiece, you will be golden. This is also the type of horn you need to get acquainted with and used to while playing, especially in the high register. But over all, I rate it a 4 star, really good instrument and I do recommend buying this, especially jazz players.

Comments about Allora Vienna Series Intermediate Straight Soprano Saxophone with Two Necks:

I was nervous about buying this without playing it first but the gamble paid off. Like any small instrument, intonation is very touchy, especially in the high register. You will need to spend a lot of time with a tuner! Response is incredible, the keys fell and respond great, and the tone quality is beautiful. I have been using the straight neck, included mouthpiece, and strength 2 Vandoren reeds. I hope this review helps and I do recommend this soprano.
