When I'm doing dishes, I wish I was caressing this sweet stand, but it is much to heavy. I just spiral up like a tree climbing sloth and stripper dancing with this hot pole feet first submerging into the pinnacle of galaxy, bronitaaaaaaa! SeKzy mamita! ¡Ay Ay! I can grab my wig and cans lay on the couch with an ice pack over my head and complain about the coiled cord on my auricular beat blasters making noises through the pristine large diaphragm mic, but that's about it. A++: Pro gear.

I have a couple of mikes that I use for studio, that are heavy.....and need more support. Plus I have been using Atlas stands since the mid-70s. So this would be a natural fit.........however, one issue in particular---and it is an important one-----had difficulty screwing the post into the base. It appears that the threads for the base were cut wrong! Tried it not only the normal way, but reversed the positions---that didn't work. Thought something might have got stuck---sprayed in some WD40---that didn't work, either. Also tried hammering it in, which also didn't work. Also had some scrapes on the post(which didn't interfere with the performance quality)and I wouldn't care about that, as long as it worked. I normally would return it, but the box was not in any shape to travel either. Will have to get some of my mechanic friends to either re-cut the threads or weld it at a later date. But for now it sits. Really disappointing!

Comments about Atlas Sound MS25 Pro Mic Stand with Air Suspension:

This is a piece of equipment that will last decades. Massively heavy base that WILL NOT tip over. If you need the best, this baby is it.

Comments about Atlas Sound MS25 Pro Mic Stand with Air Suspension:

Atlas stands are the only ones I consider for heavy duty applications. This stand is super stable and top quality.

The stand I received did have a slight defect... there is an adapter that comes pre-threaded onto the base's extension rod that goes from the rod's thick diameter down to the thread size that the boom arm requires. This adapter piece appears to be slightly cross-threaded onto the base's extension rod making it slightly crooked and impossible to fix. This really only made attaching the boom arm a touch more difficult... it does not affect routine operation in any way but I was a little disappointed about the defect. If I hadn't needed to use it immediately, I'm sure MF would have swapped it out for me without issue.

Comments about Atlas Sound MS25 Pro Mic Stand with Air Suspension:

This offers excellent stability for expensive studio mics. I added one of the Atlas boom arms and am very impressed with the quality. No fear of accidentally knocking this stand over. I would not want to carry it a long distance though...this thing is heavy!

Comments about Atlas Sound MS25 Pro Mic Stand with Air Suspension:

The MS25 is a beast. Weighing in around 30 lbs. with the boom and mic, I finally found a stand that stays put. I mainly use this as a vocal mic stand and I'm a drummer. The tripods I've used for the last 40 yrs. were unreliable and took up too much floor space. I wish I bought this stand in the late 70's.

Comments about Atlas Sound MS25 Pro Mic Stand with Air Suspension:

I have set up so many different mic stands in my lifetime that fall over because of the length of boom I need for the microphone to reach me while I drum. This stand with the Atlas boom works the best so far. I absolutely recommend this for anyone needing the weight it takes to hold a good microphone including the Shure Super 55 without tipping over. Great stand. Kudos to Atlas. Price is a little higher than the others but the quality is A1.

Comments about Atlas Sound MS25 Pro Mic Stand with Air Suspension:

This is one heavy and heavy duty stand. The base is like 16lbs but has a nice compact footprint. Works great if you don't have a lot of space in a club. VERY stable! Use it live, studio wherever. Now traveling with it is a bit of a hassle compared to my tripod boom which fit under my backseat. The trade is worth it. Thick adjustable pole, attach your fave boom and go!! Best price here at MF

Comments about Atlas Sound MS25 Pro Mic Stand with Air Suspension:

I am a singing drummer that wanted to switch to a handheld from a headset. I was looking for a mic stand that was heavy enough that it would not tilt over when moving boom arm. This stand delivered 100%. Sturdy, well built stand.

I've been using one of these since the mid-'70's. I finally needed another stand, and looked this Atlas stand up, to see if they were even still being built. Was happy to see they are!
This is one solid mic stand!! Sturdy as any I've ever used. I love it!
