Clean, consistent coverage with 80 x 80° coverage pattern.
Designed primarily as a monitor, this 700W powered cabinet delivers clean, powerful sound and consistent 80 x 80° audio dispersion pattern for improved coverage across the entire listening area. It's also great for use as a compact main, thanks to its full-range response and pole mount socket. For the performer using the BASSBOSS CCM112 as stage monitor, this means less peaky response and fewer problems with feedback relative to where the microphone is moved.
The consistent, conical coverage pattern of the CCM112 is the result of the true point-source nature of the co-axial design. Any speaker that has the tweeter horizontally or vertically offset from the mid-frequency driver produces very different response as one moves through its coverage area from the tweeter side to the woofer side. This is due to the different distances the sound has to travel to reach the ears. This issue is eliminated in the CCM112.
BASSBOSS was born out of a passion for ultra-deep low-end, and a belief that tight, clean, accurate bass is the foundation of great sound. Each BASSBOSS product is a mindfully engineered, painstakingly tuned, completely integrated audio system, intended to seamlessly pair with other BASSBOSS products. BASSBOSS speakers are designed, built and hand-assembled in Austin, Texas, using only premium components. Like its siblings in the BASSBOSS lineup, the CCM112 powered monitor is optimized for full-power usage. That is to say, it's intended to be pushed hard and abused, gig after gig. So, don't hold back—crank it up.
This powered stage monitor is extremely compact, so doesn’t get in the way of sight lines of the performers. The extra area that the tweeter would ordinarily take up on the front of the speaker is eliminated. Instead the tweeter exits through the middle of the woofer, making it possible to make the cabinet barely bigger than a 12″ woofer yet still incorporate a compression driver and horn, a 700W amplifier and an integrated digital signal processor in a single cabinet.
The CCM112 has 4 angles in which it can be placed. It can be used as a floor monitor for a standing performer, or as a floor monitor for a seated performer. It also has a shallower angle that’s useful if the CCM112 is to be used as a drum monitor on top of a drum sub, or on a table as a DJ monitor. Finally, it has a flat placement side for use as a straight-ahead front fill. On the same surface, it includes a pole socket mount for mounting on a tripod speaker stand or a pole above a socket-equipped sub, for use as a main PA speaker.
BASSBOSS cabinets are CNC-machined and hand-built in the USA. Constructed from 15mm Baltic Birch plywood, using dado joints, screws and advanced composite adhesives. Created to stand up to intense use. The cabinet is finished in an extremely rugged, black polyurethane coating. Its rugged drivers are protected by a powder-coated, perforated steel grill, and the rear-mounted amplifier is protected by a set of integrated handles to make carrying the boxes a breeze and provide clean, elegant lines to the enclosure.
The Class-D amplifier section consists of two channels with a total output of 700W. Exceptional dynamic resolution and detail along with precise control. Low current draw and light weight relative to the output capacity.
BASSBOSS speakers can be connected directly to your mixer with nothing but signal cable in between. The built-in processing is comprehensive and includes all necessary high-pass and low-pass filters along with equalization and phase alignment processing to ensure coherent response when deployed with BASSBOSS subwoofers. There is no need for any additional EQ in the signal path for the speaker to provide a broad, flat frequency response. Sophisticated DSP programming ensures the speakers deliver consistent sound quality no matter the input level.
BASSBOSS technical specs are based on measurements of continuous performance in normal usage. Other manufacturers may specify output based on calculations rather than measurements; measurements outside the operating bandwidth; or on ‘Burst’ or ‘Peak’ readings. BASSBOSS specifications are conservative compared to most manufacturers. They reflect what the products will achieve, consistently, in the real world—since the real world is where you’ll be using your gear.
