The Behringer TO800 overdrive pedal brings you the warmth and crunch of vintage tube amp overdrive in a compact stompbox. Designed with the original 4558 op amps and legendary MA150 distortion diodes found in classic rock overdrives, the TO800 recreates those iconic gritty lead tones. Dedicated drive, tone and level knobs give you precise control in dialing in your tone. The status LED lets you know when the effect is engaged. True bypass switching ensures your tone remains pristine.
Vintage Op Amps and Diodes for Classic Tube Tone
At the heart of the TO800 are the very same op amp and diode pairing found in vintage tube overdrives, recreating that natural tube amp breakup. The 4558 op amp adds warmth and fatness to the overdrive. Combined with the MA150 distortion diodes, you get smooth, singing leads and rich, complex chords. Just like the overdrive section of a cranked tube amp, the TO800 responds dynamically to your playing for a very amp-like feel.
Sculpt Your Sound With Dedicated Controls
The TO800 puts key parameters right at your fingertips. The Drive knob controls the overall amount of gain and distortion, taking you from subtle breakup to full-on tube scream. The Tone knob lets you dial in the perfect EQ - keep it darker for a thick, bassy crunch or brighten it up for searing leads. The Level knob balances the volume of the effected signal. Finding your tone is quick and intuitive.
