The Blackstar St. James 50 EL34 50W tube guitar head is built with an inductive load that allows you to run the valves flat out without having a speaker connected. It also features Plus Cab Rig, a next-generation DSP speaker simulator that captures incredible tones via USB / XLR D.I. out or headphones. The Power Reduction switch allows you to select 50 watts, 5 watts or Sag to easily get the ideal balance of power and response from studio to stage. The head's universal power supply with the matching speaker cabinet's unique Celestion Zephyr lightweight ferrite speakers and candlenut plywood cabinet combine to create a lightweight 50-watt valve amp stack and to deliver amazing tones without compromise.
