The guitar’s back and sides are made from Granadillo—a visually stunning exotic wood that delivers surprising energy and extraordinary tonal balance in addition to its highly desirable color patterns, extenuated by a thin UV finish. Further boosting the high-energy sound, Breedlove has chosen an African mahogany neck and an African ebony fretboard and bridge. The FSC-certified European spruce top is torrefied, resulting in a more mature sound and tone and a top that’s less susceptible to movement with humidification changes. The highly versatile Concert body shape is suited for strumming and heavy play, but also shines as a fingerstyle guitar. Responsive to a light touch and strumming, this versatile guitar has outstanding nuance and note-to-note clarity.
The cutaway design gives access to all 20 frets. In addition, Breedlove’s Natural Sound Electronics are more reliable and put controls right where you need them—in the sound hole for quick, on-the-strum access.
