The timeless design and sound of the all-tube amp has made its indelible mark on countless beloved tracks spanning the history of the electric guitar. With the ultimate pursuit of those wonderfully saturated, vintage and modern tones in mind, we proudly present the G20 INFINIUM.
Sporting a gorgeous modern look and feel, the G20 serves up 20 beautiful, tube-soaked, Class-A Watts in vintage, as well as modern flavors. With two preamp tube stages for Clean and two dedicated tube stages for Overdrive, the G20 covers vast sonic territories with remarkable ease. Additionally, the G20 INFINIUM features an integrated high-definition Reverb and our extremely versatile MORPH EQ for seamlessly sweeping between vintage U.S. and British-style tone. Enhancing the versatility of this do-it-all head, our revolutionary INFINIUM Tube Life Multiplier Technology makes tube replacement incredibly simple – so you can spend more time playing your music.
Classic Push-Pull Design
The G20 INFINIUM features a true Class-A amp head with a 2 x ECC83 front-end and 2 x EL34 power stage. A masterfully crafted push-pull tube amp, the G20 provides sweetly-balanced harmonics and natural tube compression – resulting in the warm distortion and break-up you’ve come to appreciate from the vintage megaliths of yesteryear – only in a much more portable and attractive package.
INFINIUM Tube Life Multiplier Technology
Years in the making, our INFINIUM Tube Life Multiplier Technology can extend the usable lifespan of your amplifier’s expensive power tubes by up to 20 times, saving you huge money and ensuring the integrity of your tone. How? This revolutionary circuit automatically and continuously monitors the performance of each output tube, and dynamically drives it towards the target operating point, for an evenly distributed load.
INFINIUM also compensates for the effects of aging, automatically adjusting current levels to keep your tubes sounding as good as new – even when AC line voltages drop below nominal levels. Similar technology has been used for decades in all-wheel drive cars, where systems modulate the power going to each wheel to improve traction. Just consider INFINIUM Series amps “4-wheel drive” for your guitar.
INFINIUM Series amps take all the guesswork out of tube replacement by illuminating an LED next to a tube that is reaching the end of its usable lifespan. And thanks to INFINIUM’s Auto-Bias design, you simply replace the indicated tube – without a trip to the repair shop, saving you even more money.
MORPHING - Jump the Atlantic Ocean
Our proprietary MORPH EQ control lets you instantly jump the Atlantic Ocean, to give your music either classic U.S. or British-style EQ tone – or anything in between! Why choose between two great sounds? The G20 INFINIUM gives you the best of both worlds, and all the subtle shades in between.

Comments about Bugera G20 20W Tube Guitar Amplifier Head:
I have had the G20 for a couple of weeks and it has exceeded my expectations. I have had over a dozen amps in the past few decades, mostly solid state combos. One exception is an Orange Micro Dark hybrid I still own. This is my first all tube amp, and to me, the G20 provides "better" tones than any of my others. The G20 feels well built, with metal knobs & switches, solid connectors, and nice tolex with everything straight. The Morph knob adds great variety and tone controls work well. I have played it through 3 similar 1x12 open-back pine cabinets with Celestion Rocker 50, V-Type, and WGS ET-65 speakers. It sounds different with each one providing their own character. My previous right-angle instrument cable did not fit well with the input location and upgrading with a straight Kirlin cable was a noticeable improvement. The amp sounds good with a 1994 Fender Am.Std. Strat - getting nice clean and bluesy tones. Mostly, I've played a 2014 GLP Studio with 490s. With the Gain at 12 o'clock & Volume on 10, the Overdrive channel provides a nice, well, overdrive. The cleans are nice - clear and chimey. With Clean Volume at 3 o'clock, to match the gain settings when channel switching, it gets a bit dirty when guitar volume approaches 10. The Master allows you to get the tone you like and adjust the volume. With the above settings, the Master on 1, the amp is pretty loud in a 24' x 16' room. I have found it responsive to volume and tone adjustments on the guitar and pick attack. The reverb seems good (set on 1), but the cabinets with their location provide a certain amount of reverb so I have a hard time telling how effective it is otherwise.
I really like this amp! It is quiet and can produce a variety of very nice guitar tones. I'm hoping the Infinium technology eases future tube changes and lets me know when it is needed. I will be using the amp at home so can't speak to its roadworthiness or relative loudness in a band setting. Worth checking!
Comments about Bugera G20 20W Tube Guitar Amplifier Head:
I got mine a while back. Don't expect gig worthy. But it is a quality practice amp. Can't beat it for the money. Takes pedals very well. I changed out the tubes on mine and it sings. Its a good little amp. I have owned the best of amps. My standards are high. With a little tweaking and a pedal or two it will go anywhere. And go there well. As it sits it just falls short of metal. It beats a solidstate any day of the week. And I believe it to be well built . I've seen more expensive amps that aren't as well built. Thumbs up.
