A far-reaching advancement in the study and preparation of orchestral trumpet parts, this collection of twenty-nine of the most famous trumpet passages is the fruit of many years' work by Vincent Cichowicz. You are no longer confined to practice the parts only in isolation but can have the full orchestral context with you in these excellent piano reductions. It includes the piano book of seventy-four pages and a thirty-two page booklet of the trumpet parts (not only the first trumpet but often second and third as well). The latter also includes Cichowicz's famous Flow Studies set. The purpose of this collection is to provide the performer with a context for the study of orchestral excerpts. We are most often confined to preparing this material without reference to the full musical content of the composer's creation and this collection is dedicated to filling that gap.
