Comments about Claude Lakey Original Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece:
I love this m'piece so much I just bought another one after over 20 years. The 5 is wide open and I get a great tone with my Buffet. I have recorded many times with this piece including an all clarinet cd and love it's response and feel. The downside: it's short. I had to put several tone rings in the barrel as I couldn't find one long enough to get in pitch. The resultant look is a little strange, but my ax plays in tune and has for many years. Conclusion: this m'piece will perform well for you, but you may have to search for a barrel that works or modify one as I did.
