Comments about D'Addario EJ67 Nickel Mandolin Strings:

Typical D'Addario quality, always good. They were purchased for a solid-body F-style electric mandolin. Steel strings are more easily detected by the pickup and the nickel coating helps protect the string. Also, the price was very competitive.

Comments about D'Addario EJ67 Nickel Mandolin Strings:

One of my Mandolins just never sounded quite right with main stream phosphor bronze strings. These nickel plated steel strings brought out cool tone the others didn't. They wear very well. The only downside for me is the low g string is a .039 instead of .040.

Great strings, a little lighter tension.

Comments about D'Addario EJ67 Nickel Mandolin Strings:

On most Mandolin family instruments, I use phosphor bronze. I have one custom Weber build with a port orford cedar top that seems to really come alive with this string.
