The Sauce is a powerful multi-band vocal processor from GRAMMY award winning producer DJ Swivel. It's DJ Swivel's first creative tool for vocal manipulation, with pitch and format shifting, compression, saturation, distortion, chorus, flanger, delay, reverb, stereo imaging and filtering.
The Sauce lets users add flavor to vocals, beats, synths and other instruments. You can also use it to create the sought-after vocal chop effects heard today's modern hits. The Sauce is comprised of 8 sections. Each section covers specific effects that would otherwise be implemented individually. The Sauce provides the flexibility of a full creative effects chain in one plug-in. Everything is laid out on one screen. The "Flavor" section provides Pitch and Format Shifting without artifacts, while the "Spice" section provides warm saturation or a more aggressive distortion that can beef up your sound. The "Sugar" section offers modulation effects with a chorus and flanger. The "Squeeze" section is an on-board compressor that has all parameters automatically set. All you need to do is turn the knob, with Dab being a light parallel compression, and Pump being a more aggressive compression setting. The "Smoke" and "Drip" sections provide Reverb and Delay, respectively. "Spread" allows users to adjust the stereo width. The Multi-band section enables users to set up separate processing of individual bands using all of the aforementioned effects. The output section includes high and low pass filter and a mix knob for quick wetness control.
