Comments about Dean Backwoods 3 Banjo:

Purchased this banjo two months ago and have had to tighten the drum and neck twice. It has a decent sound and I feel it's a good beginner banjo. I didn't want to buy something too costly and let it sit and gather dust if I couldn't play. Turns out I'm learning and I'm pretty satisfied. You can't expect to compare this banjo to a $4000 Gibson. I noticed that under the resonator that there is only one metal bar and it was bent under the pressure of the store tightening it, (nice banjo's have two metal bars and are more sturdy.) It's holding up so far :)
