Eastman EEP526GS Professional Series Compensating Euphonium
Euphoniums are known for intonation issues in the lower register, but not the EEP526GS. It features a fully compensating valve system that enables accurate intonation throughout the instrument's range. The compensating valves help the EEP526GS blend beautifully with accompanying low brass and the rest of the ensemble. The EEP526GS gets its rich voice from a 12" yellow brass bell. Yellow brass bells are prized for their warm, resonant tone and a bell of this size provides ample projection and a quick response. Whether performing a delicate solo passage or blasting out a fortissimo entrance, the EEP526GS euphonium's yellow brass bell is up to the task. Its upright orientation also allows its tone to envelop the audience.
In addition to its yellow brass bell, the EEP526GS euphonium features a 0.610" rose brass leadpipe. Rose brass alloys produce a darker timbre with more body than yellow brass.
